Demonstration Ozone Layer Thickness Maps High Performance Database Research Center
This page provides access to the Ozone layer thickness data as measured by the Meteor-3, Nimbus-7 and Earth Probe satellites during the years 1978 to 1998. This data is presently stored in an experimental Semantic Binary Database at the High Performance Database Research Center at Florida International University.

You may pose a variety of QUERIES TO THE DATABASE by completing the form below. The results are presented as color maps showing Dobson Units (DU). The Lower the value, the thinner the Ozone layer.

The database is in constant use by the faculty and students at the research center so that your use of the data is shared. You are reminded that this database is experimental and that the original data is obtainable from NASA archives.
